About XO Bar
How is XO Bar different?
XO Bar is the only bar in the world that lets you recycle your last piece of soap inside.
We use time-tested, high-quality ingredients that have been used for centuries to cleanse the body.
We do not use synthetic detergents or require added preservatives, unlike most mass-market soap bars and body washes.
How is XO Bar zero waste?
At XO Bath we take the term zero-waste very seriously. We feel any zero-waste claim should be supported in a transparent and straightforward manner.
XO Bar was designed with a patented zero-waste process that works right in your hand by saving the last piece of soap in your shower inside of a new bar.
That last piece can amount to about 10% of your bar. Often that piece is either discarded out of frustration or crumbles away with use. By saving that last piece we have the potential to eliminate soap waste globally by about 2 billion bars every year.
How do I use an XO Bar?
XO Bar works in 3 easy steps:
1. Use your old soap until it can easily fit inside your new XO Bar.
2. Wet your old soap and break into 2-3 pieces before inserting.
3. Wash primarily on the X side to finish your old soap first. Your remaining piece of soap will be finished after using just half of your new bar.
XO Bar also works great when empty. Enjoy!
Can I start using XO Bar without a small piece of soap?
Yes! XO Bar works great when empty.
With a new bar, we recommend washing primarily on the X side to use up the open side of the bar first.
After a week or two of use, when your soap is down to a small piece, insert it into a new XO Bar for the optimal recycling experience.
Can I add any kind of soap to my bar?
Yes, any remaining bar soap that easily fits in your XO Bar is fine.
In terms of mixing scents, we find it's not a problem. Typically over time, any small soap piece you insert has lost its "new" fragrance intensity and integrates well with a new XO Bar.
How long does it take to finish my old piece of soap?
XO Bar finishes your old soap after using just half a bar.
Depending on how frequently you use your XO Bar, you will finish the old soap in about 1-2 weeks – leaving you with just the remaining new bar.
How should I store my XO Bar before I use it?
We recommend storing your XO Bar in a cool dry place. Avoid keeping bars in a highly moist or damp areas.
One trick our grandmother taught us is to store new soap bars with your towels and linens to give them an extra fresh scent.
How should I store my XO Bar in the shower or bath?
As with any soap bar, it's very important to keep your bars in the shower in a place where they can drain and dry between use.
We like using a wire soap dish or a mesh pad that elevates your bar from sitting in any water.
Letting a bar fully dry between use helps your bar last longer and let's you better enjoy the rich qualities a soap bar has to offer.
We like to think of it similar to using a bath towel. After each shower, do you leave it in a wet clump on the floor until the next day, or do you hang it up to air dry? It's the same with soap bars!
Are there other bars or fragrances besides Aegean Sea Salt?
Currently Aegean Sea Salt is our only bar available at this time.
We plan to roll out many more bars and scents in the near future with the same vision of celebrating the beautifully diverse regions of the world.
Are the scents unisex?
All of our scents are unisex and safe for sensitive skin.
Is XO Bar safe for sensitive skin?
Yes, we use time-tested, quality ingredients and professionally developed fragrances designed to be safe for sensitive skin.
On our product page is a full list of ingredients and their uses. We recommend checking that listing. If you have specific allergies try a patch test, and, as always, consult your doctor before using our products if you have any major concerns.
Is XO Bar safe for children?
Yes! We use high-quality ingredients in our soap that are safe for children.
Safety tips:
• Please be careful not to let the soap get in the eyes. Rinse thoroughly if that happens.
• Be sure children do not try to eat the bar, particularly when the soap bar gets small.
Can I use XO Bar while pregnant or nursing?
We use time-tested, quality ingredients and professionally developed fragrances.

We encourage anyone who is pregnant or nursing to share the ingredient list with their primary healthcare provider and ask questions about usage during those times.

Aegean Sea Salt Soap:
Ingredients: Sodium Palmate (certified sustainably sourced palm oil), Sodium Cocoate, Water, Glycerin, Fragrance, Bambusa Arundinacea (Bamboo) Powder, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Chloride (Sea Salt), Citric Acid, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Tocopherol (Vitamin E).
Is XO Bar vegan?
Yes, XO Bar is 100% vegan.
Our soap does not contain any animal ingredients, animal by-products, or any other animal-sourced ingredients, including beeswax and honey.
Is XO Bar cruelty free?
Yes, XO Bar is cruelty free and uses certified cruelty free ingredients.
Is XO Bar made in USA?
Yes, all of our products are designed and made in the USA.
Are XO Bars safe for pets?
Do not use an XO Bar on pets!
For your pet, we recommend using a shampoo or cleanser specifically labeled for pet use only.

How do I login to my account?
You can easily log in to your account here.
If you find that you do not yet have an account but you've already subscribed, simply create a new account using the same email address you used to place your first order.
Shipping & Returns
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, we offer free shipping on orders over $30.
When will my order ship?
Orders are usually processed within 3 business days. When your order is shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with your tracking information inside.
Most packages take between 3 to 7 business days (not including holidays) to arrive once shipped.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii?
Yes, we ship to Alaska and Hawaii. Shipping costs will be based on dimensions and weight of the package and may take a little extra time.
Do you ship to military APOs?
Yes, it falls under domestic shipping but may incur longer shipping times.
Do you ship internationally?
We do not ship internationally at this time but we hope to soon.
How do I change my shipping address?
If you are not a subscriber, or if your order is already processing, please email us as soon as possible at info@xobath.com.
Please include in the subject line "URGENT: Incorrect Address", and we will work to make sure your order gets to you.
If you are a subscriber and your order has not been processed yet, you can update your address at any time on your account page. Please be sure to keep your shipping information up-to-date!
What do I do if something arrives broken or damaged?
Please email us at info@xobath.com with the subject line reading "DAMAGED" along with your order number and a photo of the broken product and our support team will respond back with replacement details.
Can I make changes or cancel my order?
Once you place an order and the payment is accepted and confirmed, it is then processed to be shipped.
As that is a short window of time, we may not be able to update your order before it is packed and set aside for shipping. To ensure your order is quickly corrected, it is best to cancel your recent order and make a new one with the right information.
Please email us at info@xobath.com as soon as possible with the subject line reading "CANCEL" along with your full name and order number and we will see how we can help.
What is your return and refund policy?
We hope you are 100% satisfied with your XO Bar. If there is a problem please email us a info@xobath.com within 30 days of receipt of your order so we can help.
Please get in contact with us as prior permission must be granted before returning products.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. We only offer returns for first time orders.
Return Shipping:
Unfortunately, we are unable to refund original shipping charges. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $50, consider using a trackable shipping service with shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
After your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
Bulk orders, or orders over $75 are ineligible for return and subject to additional evaluation by the XO Bath team.
